About the role

CREW Carbon is seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Lead to source cost-effective mineral feedstock and manage comprehensive logistics.  This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in procurement and logistics within the minerals and mining industries.

This position is a full-time role, with travel expectations to mineral suppliers and wastewater partners across the US. Location will be onsite at our office in Brooklyn.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish partnerships with mineral suppliers to procure alkaline minerals, such as calcium carbonate, including leading contract negotiations with a data-driven methodology, financial expertise and strong technical understanding.
  • Oversee the end-to-end logistics process on a project-by-project basis, including order placement, supplier coordination, delivery contractor management, and transportation scheduling, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements within the supply chain and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality in supply chain operations.​
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into logistics operations.​
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, operations, finance, and commercial teams to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring alignment with organizational financial goals.​ Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or service levels.​
  • Conduct supplier and deployment site visits to review mineral products, and oversee first deliveries, respectively.
  • Monitor market trends to anticipate pricing fluctuations and supply availability.

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors in supply chain management or engineering (or similar field).
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics roles, preferably within the minerals or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of successful negotiations with large-scale commodity suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and supply chain analytics.
  • Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software.
  • Startup mindset where adaptability, creativity, agility, and execution are keys to success.
  • Strong desire to fight climate change.

Senior Project Manager

About the role

CREW Carbon is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead project execution as we plan, design, and execute new  carbon dioxide removal projects. Our solution integrates dosing CO2 removal hardware and monitoring systems into wastewater treatment plants. This role involves overseeing the coordination of multiple internal and external team functions to implement installation of dosing hardware, manage technical operations, coordinate mineral deliveries, and drive project execution across multiple sites.

You will work closely with engineering, science, and commercial teams to meet CREW Carbon’s carbon removal and operational objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical project management expertise and operational leadership within a fast-moving, hardware-intensive startup environment.

This position is a full-time role, with travel expectations up to 30% to project sites across the US. Location will be onsite at our office in Brooklyn, or remote within the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic US.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project execution planning, site assessments, and technical deployment of carbon removal hardware.
  • Oversee end-to-end project management, including creating and maintaining timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple operational sites.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and science teams to ensure successful installation and performance of CREW’s technology.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including procurement and supply chain logistics for hardware components and mineral inputs, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution through data-driven optimization and lessons learned from previous deployments.
  • Develop and implement operational systems and processes to streamline project execution and scale efficiency, including developing industry-standard templates and project management resources.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, resolving conflicts or roadblocks at the project level to keep timelines and budgets on track.
  • You’re game for all things big and small – one moment you might be working on the 5-year strategy, the next you’re getting hands-on with vendor negotiations or onsite to ensure the system is coming online.

Experience requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in technical project management, operational leadership, or deployment of industrial/hardware technologies.
  • Experience managing infrastructure, hardware, or water treatment projects, including design, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Expertise in contractor and vendor management, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) processes.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills to work with technical teams and external stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and project cash flow management.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

About the role

CREW Carbon is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead project execution as we scale-up our decarbonization technology. This role will ensure the proper installation and operation of CREW’s deployments to achieve CO2 removal (CDR) with our wastewater partners. In this role, you will lead end-to-end project management to ensure budget and timelines are met; support implementation, commissioning, and operations at wastewater facilities; and managing wastewater partners, suppliers/vendors, and engineering services firms. This position is a full-time role, with travel expectations to wastewater partners across the US. Location will be onsite at our office in Brooklyn, or remote within the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic US.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management, including creating and maintaining timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple operational sites.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and operation teams to ensure successful installation and performance of CREW’s technology.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including procurement and supply chain logistics for hardware components, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Prepare proposals including scope of work, cost estimates, schedules, presentations, and other related engineering project documentation.
  • Develop site-specific design packages as part of the detailed work plan, including engineering specifications and execution planning.
  • Conduct and manage fieldwork associated with design and construction services which includes but is not limited to: construction inspection, training, commissioning, startup.
  • Servicing of deployments which includes but is not limited to: follow-up support with on-site operators, coordination with equipment vendors or suppliers.

Experience Requirements

  • Bachelors in chemical, civil, electrical, or environmental, mechanical engineering (or similar field).
  • 4-8 years of experience in construction engineering, construction management, or project management.
  • Strong writing, project management, and communication skills.
  • Financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and project cash flow management.
  • Experience overseeing subcontractors and ensuring they deliver on project requirements.
  • Startup mindset where adaptability, creativity, agility, and execution are keys to success.
  • Strong desire to fight climate change.

Bonus qualifications

  • Experience with design, procurement, and construction of solid materials handling and dosing systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for engineering or product design (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Fusion, etc).
  • Understanding of water and wastewater treatment systems.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the United States.
  • Experience with sensor and monitoring systems and automation controls.
  • Experience with DCS or SCADA integrations.

Physical and work environment

  • Travel is expected up to 50%.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
