About the Role
The Technical Account Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and servicing deployments of CREW’s CO2 removal (CDR) technology with existing and upcoming wastewater partners. The Technical Account Manager will work closely with partners to provide programs tailored to their specific needs, while pursuing CREW’s mission to achieve CDR at scale. This is a full time position, with travel expectations to wastewater partners and conferences across US and Europe. Location is flexible, with proximity preference to our offices in New Haven or Brooklyn.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Manage relationships with existing and new wastewater partners to implement CDR technologies
Coordinate with external stakeholders to execute on projects, including engineering and construction companies, suppliers & vendors, and partnering organizations
Track project progress from pilots and full-scale demonstrations toward commercial agreements
Provide technical expertise and guidance on process co-benefits to partner’s operations
Identify new business needs and opportunities to further CDR as a novel resource recovery in wastewater systems
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors in chemical, civil, electrical, or environmental, mechanical engineering (or similar field)
7+ years of experience in wastewater treatment
Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and management skills
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with experience working on cross-functional teams from multiple locations
Experience in identifying, contracting, and managing third parties such as engineering, procurement, and construction firms
Must be in good physical ability for travel with valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record
Startup mindset where adaptability, creativity, agility, and execution are keys to success
Strong desire to fight climate change

The annual salary range for this position is competitive and will depend on many factors including experience, education, and expertise. We offer a competitive benefits package with insurance, vacation, retirement, and equity options.

CREW has offices and labs in New Haven, CT and offices in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will be in-person, however options are available for remote/hybrid work as needed.
